Women’s Voices Involvement Panel

We are eager to tell you about the opportunity to become involved with the work of the RCOG via the Women’s Voices Involvement Panel. The panel is an online group of members of the public who wish to use their experiences of women’s health services to influence the work of the sector and call for change where needed. There are opportunities to comment on patient information resources, take part in focus groups, help to inform future policy and join working groups. The RCOG are also often looking for women to share their own experiences with the media to raise awareness. Diane Danzebrink (who spoke out our conference) became involved with the RCOG after her hysterectomy which put her in to surgical menopause. During her struggle to find information and support it became clear that nothing was out there which is why she founded menopausesupport.co.uk. She is now the media lay spokesperson on menopause for the college.
