World POI Day

Daisy Network, the only UK charity for women with Premature Ovarian Insufficiency, is proud to launch the first-ever World POI Day in 2025. This global awareness day aims to shine a light on Premature Ovarian Insufficiency (POI), a condition affecting 4 in 100 women under 40.

“Raising awareness for POI isn’t just about sharing facts, it’s about amplifying voices, breaking the silence, and changing lives.”

✨️ We raise awareness on World Menopause Day, World Heart Day, International Women’s Day but we needed a day specifically for POI. But why? –

• Many women struggle with delayed diagnosis and lack of information.

• POI affects physical, emotional, and mental well-being.

• Raising awareness can lead to earlier diagnoses, better support, and improved healthcare solutions.

Together, we can create a global conversation and break the silence around POI.

✨️ What can you do to get involved?

No matter where you are on your journey, your voice can make a difference:

• Share personal stories or experiences with POI on social media using the hashtag #WorldPOIDay and don’t forget to tag us to feature on our page.

• Post a photo with our signature daisy flower, a symbol of hope and strength

• Hold your own World POI Day event with your family and friends, educating them on POI with a cup of tea and using our downloadable kit.

• Join our live events, including Daisy Day 2025. Tickets on sale 15th June 2025.

• Visit www.daisynetwork.org for information, resources and community.

✨️ World POI Day is just one day, but our mission lasts all year and all over the world. Through support groups, medical guidance, and our incredible member community, we’re here to make sure nobody has to face POI in silence.

Let’s make history together, October 25th 💖
