I am a general obstetrician and gynaecologist working in East London. I was diagnosed with POI whilst undergoing IVF; my husband and I now live a positively childfree life. You might meet me on one of our regular Live Chats.

Beth
Social Media
I'm Beth. Since my diagnosis with POI at 15, I have aimed to make sure that no one ever feels as lonely and confused as I did by supporting you all through social media. I am also one of the representatives for the Midlands area, please feel free to get in touch!

Jasspreet
I am a medical student hoping to eventually specialise in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. I learnt about Daisy Network through one of my lecturers and instantly knew that I wanted to get involved. Since joining Daisy, I have been really excited to have been a part of the big changes the charity has made and our growing support system, I am particularly looking forward to being involved in Daisy’s mission to raise awareness and knowledge of POI and improve support for those impacted.

Bianca
Research
I am bioscientist by background with over 12 years of experience in technology transfer and partnership development in the agricultural sector. When diagnosed with POI at the age of 35, I was shocked to hear that in only 10% of cases the causes for the condition are ever identified. That led me to volunteer my transferable skills to help the Daisy Network set up new research partnerships aimed at promoting a better understanding of POI.

Holly
Teenage Support
I’m 20 years old and I am one of the volunteers here at Daisy.
Little fun facts about me: Love Harry Styles and all things 1D, love a good cuppa and some chocolate! I’m an actor and dancer! I’m a bookworm! I love yoga and I’m currently at uni in London!
I was diagnosed myself at the age of 16 with POI back in 2014 and am now collaborating with Amy to try and help raise awareness about POI in teenagers. I think it is so important to keep the conversation going and to not feel embarrassed as it it a part of us which I think should be embraced! So please feel free to get in contact with us about ANYTHING! We are here to listen and respect what you have to say. Speak soon peeps!
