Volunteers

Esta página se encuentra actualmente solo en inglés.

Please email info@daisynetwork.org if you can help us with translation.

Daisy Network is always looking for volunteers who can help with the running of the charity; volunteering is a great way to meet some fantastic new people and you can really make a difference to the lives of thousands of women diagnosed with POI. You don’t need any experience of POI to volunteer; just a desire to help and we ask that you can commit to a few hours per month to provide support.

If you are interested..
Please send your CV and a brief cover email to info@daisynetwork.org

Live Chat Doctor

I am a general obstetrician and gynaecologist working in East London. I was diagnosed with POI whilst undergoing IVF; my husband and I now live a positively childfree life. You might meet me on one of our regular Live Chats.

Social Media

Hey! I'm Beth and I am the Social Media Manager for the Daisy Network.

Since my diagnosis with POI at 15, I tried to raise awareness of POI and have aimed to give support to others to ensure that no one ever feels as lonely and confused as I did. I love being part of the team and feel so grateful for everything that the Daisy Network has done for me. Please feel free to get in touch at bethany@daisynetwork.org.uk

Regional

Hi my name is Katie and I joined Daisy Network as a volunteer in 2020. After being diagnosed with POI in 2019 (aged 29), I felt the need to connect with other women who were going through the same diagnosis as me so I felt less alone. Since being diagnosed I am now passionate about connecting women in the UK and around the world so they can share their experience, support each other and raise awareness of POI.

I have been working in the charity sector for over 7 years as an Executive Officer and I have seen the impact of how valuable and important it is to create a community. Daisy Network has given me so much positivity and support, I hope that my role will continue to do this by supporting our wonderful Regional Coordinators.

Teenage Support

I’m 20 years old and I am one of the volunteers here at Daisy.
Little fun facts about me: Love Harry Styles and all things 1D, love a good cuppa and some chocolate! I’m an actor and dancer! I’m a bookworm! I love yoga and I’m currently at uni in London!
I was diagnosed myself at the age of 16 with POI back in 2014 and am now collaborating with Amy to try and help raise awareness about POI in teenagers. I think it is so important to keep the conversation going and to not feel embarrassed as it it a part of us which I think should be embraced! So please feel free to get in contact with us about ANYTHING! We are here to listen and respect what you have to say. Speak soon peeps!
